As for my capstone proposal, I decided to spread awareness about Type 1 diabetes and how to maintain healthy once diagnosed. As well as explaining how you can help others who have been diagnosed with diabetes. I wanted to create an insulin tablet (similar to a glucose tablet) that would dissolve in the mouth; which would secrete insulin into the bloodstream and control insulin in the body. This would decrease the use of the insulin pump and decrease skin infections from the catheter inserted as well.
