In conclusion, this experience was really interesting and fun. I learned new information and how much more I am motivated to work with children. Unfortunately, for the insulin tablet idea, I had no way of creating this tablet. But, I still believe that it is a great idea and this tablet should/could be created. If this insulin tablet does get created in the future I will 100% support it! Some pros about this idea are that it would decrease infections from the usage of the insulin pump and would also decrease diabetic ketoacidosis. Some cons about this idea are that it would take a long to create this tablet since you need to do a lot of research and it would have to be approved before it actually goes out to these patients. I believe it would also be expensive because of how long the process will take. I had a ton of fun working on my senior capstone this school year and I hope my website and research can help people spread awareness! I will most definitely remember this project forever and how much fun it was. I also hope this website will help future seniors get some inspiration!
